BroadSweep®— processing

The broadband spectrum of vibrational oscillations recorded during field seismic surveys using BroadSweep technology allows for further enhancement of image resolution during processing of seismic data. The standard signal frequency range does not provide the same effect during processing of seismic data.

Conclusions

  • Survey using the BroadSweep signal have shown a significant increase in the geological information of high resolution seismic cube.
  • Special processing BroadSweep can increase spatial resolution up to 6.25 m, allowing the identification of subtle features of geologic objects.
  • The benefits of high-resolution Broadsweep data greatly increase the detail for building a geologic model of the field throughout its potential oil and gas extent.
